We have decided to sell one ore more of the apartments in our house in the medieval village of Pigna. See the descriptions and pictures using the menu to the left.
It is a large house in the historic part of the village.
There are three apartments in the house (Primo, Secondo and Terzo), and they are all restored within the last years: Secondo 6 years ago and Primo and Terzo 2 years ago. Not only the apartments, but also the roof. The spacious staircase that is common for the three apartments was also restored two years ago. All the plastered facades are newly painted (in one of the yellow shades that are accepted by the authorities). Some facades have nicely done joints between the original raw stones. Almost all the windows have shudders. In Primo and Secondo they are new and made of aluminium, while those in Secondo are older wooden ones. All doors are wooden. Most of them painted. All installations (electricity, water, gas) are new – except from a few in the smallest bathroom in Secondo. All the rooms in the three apartments are light and friendly with white walls. We have chosen to let a few of the walls show the raw natural stones. The materials used are of good quality. The floors are practical and beautiful tile floors (in Secondo all the floors in the first floor have the original terrazzo tiles). There is a pellet stove (thermostatically controlled) in every of the three apartments, in Secondo there is also central heating (gas). The hot water in all the apartments is gas heated. In all apartments there are cables for telephone/internet and antenna cables (Italian TV). On the roof there is also a parabola that can be used with a modem. The furniture goes with the apartments. As for carpets, pictures, kitchen aid and so on we will have to make a special agreement.
